VanTrust plans 2 Upstate industrial developments

VanTrust Real Estate, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., has expanded into South Carolina with the purchase of two parcels of industrial land in the Upstate, according to a news release. One parcel is in Spartanburg County, the other is in Anderson County.

GrandSouth reports earnings increase

GrandSouth Bancorp., the holding company for GrandSouth Bank, reported earnings of $1.8 million for the third quarter and $5.9 million year to date through Sept. 30.

Dominion Energy acquires solar generating project

Dominion Energy has acquired a solar generating project in Beaufort County that will begin providing power in South Carolina later this year. The utility company announced Friday that it acquired the solar project from First Solar under a Dominion Energy South Carolina contract.
