Dear Voornaam,

Topic: MRI to determine treatment in Breast Cancer – what the evidence shows and what the patients want

Join Professor Cristobel Saunders AO and Dr Julia Matheson as they discuss the role of breast MRIs with supporting insights from ongoing studies.

Up to 20% of treating teams recommend a breast MRI for patients with a new diagnosis of breast cancer, but there is considerable variation availability. Now, patient-reported outcome measures are providing additional and rich information to determine the best use of MRI in newly diagnosed patients.

Why you should attend:

  • Hear about how the Breast MRI Evaluation study, led by Prof Saunders, is exploring breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to improve outcomes.

  • Discover insights From Dr Matheson’s work assessing the participant experience of undergoing MRI using patient reported outcome measures (PROMs).

  • Gain new insight into how MRI’s can be used to inform treatment options.

We look forward to seeing you for another unmissable Breast Cancer Grand Round.
