Victorian Cancer Agency Grants The Victorian Government through the Victorian Cancer Agency’s research grants have been supporting innovation and excellence in cancer research since 2006, investing more than $250 million into translational research and infrastructure.
The following funding schemes are now open and will close at 2.00 pm AEST on Monday 13 September 2021:
Early Career Research Fellowships Biomedical research stream Non-biomedical research stream Mid-Career Research Fellowships Biomedical research stream Non-biomedical research stream Quality and Safety in Cancer Care Research Grants
Limited to research projects in medical oncology, malignant haematology, radiation oncology and cancer surgery intended to improve cancer survival outcomes
One grant will be awarded to the highest-ranked application from a rural or regional area that meets appropriate standards for funding.
Applications are encouraged from multiple disciplines across the translational cancer research continuum. More information, including guidelines, funding rules and a link to the application forms can be found on the VCA website. |

Breast Cancer Trials Annual Scientific Meeting The 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting will be a virtual conference from 28-30 July 2021. The virtual conference will provide an innovative platform to engage researchers, clinicians and BCT members, and as well as an exhibition hub for sponsors.
The ASM will host a number of internationally renowned guest speakers including key BCT researchers and includes two days of scientific sessions covering timely reviews of breast cancer clinical trials, discussion of new protocols, future clinical trials research and other research developments.
