Pandemic induced delays have impact on cancer outcomes
Research is emerging showing how the disruptive power of the pandemic can have negative effects on cancer diagnosis and management.

We know that a diagnosis delayed by as little as three months may have clinical impact. For some cancers, this delay can lead to upstaging with potential impact on overall survival. It is a big issue for the cancer community and something the workforce is responding to.

Critical questions and challenges in the COVID-19 era
Expert webinars available to all
In response to the challenges involved with managing cancer care during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) partnered with Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC) to develop the Victorian COVID-19 Cancer Network (VCCN). A major initiative of the VCCN has been to provide support, advice and discussion through a webinar series presented by metro and regional experts.
