VCSU Art Sale this week

The annual VCSU Art Sale will be held Tuesday-Wednesday, Dec. 3-4 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Center. An assortment of printed bags, cards, pin-back buttons, paintings, stickers, drawings, jewelry and more will be included in the sale.

All proceeds support VCSU art students and the art club.

Viking sports update

Men’s Basketball
Nov. 26: Minot State 81, VCSU 64 (exhibition)
Nov. 29: LSU-Alexandria 103, VCSU 67
Nov. 30: VCSU 65, Carver College 60
Dec. 1: Talladega College 64, VCSU 51
The VCSU men’s basketball team (1-9) picked up its first official win of the season during the Battle at the Beach tournament in Panama City, Fla. The Vikings finished the eight-team tournament in sixth place. VCSU begins conference play Saturday at Dickinson State.
 
Women’s Basketball
Nov. 26: Minot State 70, VCSU 57 (exhibition)
The VCSU women’s basketball team (2-4) begins conference play this weekend, traveling to Dickinson State on Saturday.
