Dear Reader,
The WSWS has recently made an important development in its video and social media work. In less than a week, our Facebook video on the water crisis in Flint has been watched more than 200,000 times and counting. This is an increase of 50 or 100 times over previous such content.
I am writing today to ask for your financial support to further develop this work. As the global crisis intensifies, there is a growing audience for the World Socialist Web Site. The deep social anger of millions of workers around the world goes unexpressed in Washington and other centers of ruling class power, or for that matter in the corporate-controlled media.
By developing our video and social media work, the WSWS can, and indeed must, reach an audience not just of hundreds of thousands, but of millions and millions. To produce daily videos, we need to invest continually in new technology and expand our staff.
Can you contribute $10 today to assist in video production? Even better, by signing up for a recurring monthly donation you can increase our regular budget, which enables us to expand our work in a systematic way.
Please donate today!
Fraternally,
Zac Corrigan
Video Producer for the World Socialist Web Site
