Auditor to probe Human Services’ $25 million in overpayments to Minnesota tribes
Gov. Tim Walz said Thursday that the overpayments to two tribes were discovered in May and that he’s asked Legislative Auditor Jim Nobles to look into what happened.

Authorities investigating anti-Semitic graffiti at Minneapolis school
The vandalism occurred at Lake Harriet Community School’s Upper Campus in southwest Minneapolis. Photos posted online showed a swastika spray-painted on a door to the school along with a threat using an anti-Semitic slur.
 
Marine charged with murder in death of northern Minnesota Marine at barracks in D.C.
Lance Cpl. Riley Kuznia, 20, of Karlstad, Minn., was killed on New Year's Day at the historic Marine Barracks in the nation's capital.
