Vijay Iyer brings his music to Minneapolis, focus on Black Lives Matter movement
When the Vijay Iyer Trio plays the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis this week the band will draw on several hours of material to build the set live. However, Iyer says it’s likely they will play one particular piece from the album “Uneasy” due to the proximity to the site of George Floyd’s death.

Call center workers strike over pay and working conditions.
Nearly 200 call center workers who handle calls about Medicare and Affordable Care Act health plans walked off the job in Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky and Virginia yesterday, demanding better pay and a less stressful workload.

What causes Alzheimer's? Study puts leading theory to 'ultimate test.'
Scientists are launching a study designed to make or break the hypothesis that Alzheimer's is caused by a sticky substance called beta-amyloid. The study will give an experimental anti-amyloid drug to people as young as 18 who have gene mutations that often cause Alzheimer's to appear in their 30s or 40s.
