Dear  John ,
Last day in Nantucket USA, the island where the rich 0.1% hangs out. Today four English items with interesting and inspiring people and a smartwatch review in Dutch.
Er is al veel gezegd en geschreven over de Apple Watch. Ik vergelijk het met een smartwatch van slechts €50
Matt Fee is the a politician in Nantucket. He gives me tour in his electric truck of the town and tell me how the islanders live with the millionairs and billionairs.
Charles Geschke is founder of Adobe Systems. He tells me great story how the interview was founded and the role of Pres. Kennedy and why he funded ARPA research and Arpanet which is the foundation for the internet.
I loved the book 'Losing the Signal' about the rise and fall of Blackberry and the history of the smartphone. This week I interviewed the writer, Jacquie McNish who is coming to Holland.
Geno Geng started visitor Network TV. He knows everything about Nantucket and makes a living with community tv. How does he doe it? I interviewed him in his studio.

Apple Watch (€500) vs Android Watch (€50)

Adobe founder Charles Geschke explains the history of the internet
Nantucket is a great place when you want to talk to interesting people. The first I am interviewing is Charles Geschke, the founder of Adobe Systems, the graphics and publishing software company. I had a long talk with him which will be published in 4 parts. In this part I talk with him about ARPA, the history of the internet.

Interview with Losing the Signal writer Jacquie McNish
I had the honor to talk to Jacquie McNish from Toronto. She is the co-auther of ‘Losing the signal’, a great book about the rise and fall of BlackBerry. I talk with her about the influence of the rise and fall on the Canadian psyche and how dramatic even the number one young marktleaders need to pivot when Silicon Valley is eating there lunch.

Nantucket island tour by electric truck
Matt Fee is the owner of Something Natural, a sandwich shop where I lunch every week a couple of times. Matt drives the only electric truck on the non-electric island of Nantucket, it’s a rebuild Ford Transit Connect van. He invited me for a test drive and gives me a tour downtown.
