| Byte, the Reboot of Vine, Surges After Trump Claims He Could Ban TikTok | |
| | Good morning, Last week, President Trump said he was considering banning TikTok, the popular user-generated short form video app, due to its ties to China. Byte remained at the top of the most popular apps to download last week. On Thursday alone, the app had 622,000 global downloads. The week before, it averaged 1,050 downloads per day globally.
