Virtual Selling, Now on the Fast Track, May Be Here to Stay When the Pandemic Fades
 

As more sales teams turn to virtual selling and deal-making, platforms such as LinkedIn are looking to retain new users and determine what the practice looks like on the other end of the pandemic.

As Mary Shea, a principal analyst serving business-to-business marketing and sales professionals, told my colleague David Cohen: “The psychological effect of Covid-19 is transformational. Sales leaders will start to organize differently, around buying motive and preferences, instead of region and travel or no travel.”

In other news, Twitter released a function that shows users what more people say about their tweets and Facebook is bringing avatars to the U.S.
