Virtual Press Conference - Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE)

The Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) will hold a press conference on the outcomes of its regular (biannual) meeting held from 20 to 23 March 2023. 

Issues on  the agenda included regional updates and deep dive on measles; WHO’s approach and methodology to identify priority pathogens for new vaccine development at the regional and global levels; roadmap for COVID-19 vaccination in the era of Omicron; and the status of new TB vaccine candidates intended for adults and adolescents with a focus on preparing the pathway for use.
