Today, Visa and Billtrust announce launch of the Biller Payments Network (BPN), an open buyer/supplier payments platform. Billtrust CEO Flint Lane told Karen Webster, that unlike previous attempts, the hope is that with the scale BPN brings to buyers and suppliers — the last mile of B2B payments might finally be digitized and streamlined after all.
