Viva Energy has submitted updated environmental studies to secure Victorian governmental approval for its proposed LNG import terminal. It’s an application which could test what industry sources say has been a softening of Labor’s attitude towards gas.

Meanwhile, analysts are warming to Guzman Y Gomez and its spicy sharemarket valuation. Wilsons Advisory is the latest broker to initiate research on the Mexican-themed fast-food chain, giving it an impressive 12-month price target.

Refund requests, flight delays and cancellations were the most complained-about issues by airline customers in 2023. The annual report of the Airline Customer Advocate shows “eligible” complaints increased 9 per cent last year.
