DRINK THIS NOW You’ve probably heard of the Moscow Mule, but did you know that a mule (or buck) is a whole category of tall drinks made with gingery soda, citrus, and a spirit? This version is one of my favorites, and it’s really flexible. If you have blackberries or strawberries or raspberries in your fridge, great—any fresh berry (or even a smidgen of jam) will work. But thawing a few frozen berries is fine, too! Muddled cucumber is an extra-cooling addition, but if you don’t have it, you could add a slice of celery, fresh fennel, or a few leaves of basil. (Or just skip that part.) Then: vodka or gin, and some spicy ginger beer. What We're Talking About
