| | | Volunteer opportunities available to support our community Whether it’s lending a hand to support those in need or helping local programs flourish, your time and talent can make a real difference in our community. This month, we’re spotlighting volunteer opportunities focused on community support - ranging from volunteer drivers to social companions. St Patrick's Community Support Centre: Community Store Volunteer Help support the centre's programs by volunteering in the St Pats Community Store – a low cost/no cost store for people who are homeless/risk of homelessness/concession card holders and the general public. Volunteer Home Support: Volunteer Drivers – getting people from A to B Drivers needed one-two weekdays to assist clients to various location in the metro area. 4Lifeskills2Work: Volunteer Assistant Community Support Worker Assist Community Support Workers with clients who have an intellectual or physical disability to build on independent living skills. Advocare: Community Visitor Volunteer or Amana Living- Hale Hostel: Social Companion Provide companionship, help overcome loneliness and brighten the day of an older person in their home or a residential aged care facility. Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Groups: General Volunteer Volunteer to make a difference in the lives of hospital patients and their families. Meerilinga Children's Foundation: Community Support Worker Work alongside staff in supporting children and families who attend the Early Learning programs.
