So kurios die Aktion des Tierschutzvereins München anmutet, sie hat leider einen ernsten Hintergrund. Viel zu oft schaffen sich Menschen ein Haustier an, ohne darüber nachzudenken, ob sie dauerhaft für das Tier sorgen können oder besser gesagt wollen. Wenn "Kitty" und "Bello" lästig werden, landen sie dann einfach im Tierheim oder bleiben angeleint an der Autobahn-Raststätte zurück. Die Corona-Pandemie verstärkt den Trend noch. |
Wer sich nach einem vierbeinigen Begleiter sehnt, aber nicht sicher ist, ob er die Verantwortung für ein Tier tragen will, für den hat Xiaomi eine Lösung: den CyberDog. Der Roboterhund kann dank Supercomputer und GPS selbstständig Gassi gehen, bis zu 3 Kilogramm schwere Gegenstände apportieren und wenn der Roboterhund euch nervt, schickt ihr in einfach in den Standby-Modus und fahrt ihn erst bei Bedarf wieder hoch. |

Bei so vielen Vorzügen sind die 1.300 Euro, die Xiaomi umgerechnet für das Roboter-Haustier aufruft, wirklich nicht zu viel verlangt. Der CyberDog war auf jeden Fall unser Highlight des großen Xiaomi-Events diese Woche, zumal das neue Top-Smartphone Mi Mix 4 vorerst nicht auf dem deutschen Markt erscheint. |

So jetzt ist aber Schluss mit Tiergeschichte, versprochen! An dieser Stelle begrüße ich dann auch alle Tierhaarallergiker zu unserem wöchentlichen Newsletter. Anders als sonst um diese Zeit gab es kein neues Galaxy Note, sondern neue Generationen der Falt-Handys Galaxy Z Flip 3 und Galaxy Z Fold 3 zu sehen. |

Mit diesen will Samsung Foldables vom Nischen- zum Massenprodukt machen. Ob das gelingt, daran haben wir zumindest beim Z Fold 3 Zweifel. Und das liegt nicht am stattlichen Preis von rund 1.800 Euro, sondern an einigen Entscheidungen, die der Hersteller getroffen hat. Bei euch viel gefragter war diese Woche aber ohnehin eine andere Samsung-Neuheit: die Galaxy Watch 4. |

Während Samsung und Xiaomi diese Woche allerlei bislang geheime Produkte enthüllten, bleibt manches in der Netzwelt weiterhin verborgen - etwa Reds wahre Identität. Darauf gab auch die 8.
