Using bacteria to detect colorectal cancer

Congratulations to our OPTIMISTICC team on their recent papers in Genome Medicine and Clinical Cancer Research! The findings show that analysing the microbiome of stool samples could improve accuracy of screening in colorectal cancer, and point towards a global microbiome signature for the disease.
