Cancer Grand Challenges February Newsletter

Dear Voornaam,

We hope youre well and settling into 2021. As the new year progresses, were excited to see the developments of the Cancer Grand Challenges community. Despite the obstacles the pandemic has presented, our current 7 teams have continued to push forward with their vital work in tackling some of cancers toughest challenges.

In this months newsletter, read about some of our teams' recent discoveries including new findings on KRAS-driven colorectal cancer and new technology that can create nanoscale-resolution genomic maps of tumour samples. Members of our scientific committee also continue our Challenge blog series reflecting on where a global, multidisciplinary team could take us with each challenge.

Are you ready to take on one of our challenges?

Its just over 6 weeks until the deadline for expressions of interest for the next round of Cancer Grand Challenges. If you are a researcher interested in applying, please read our Expressions of Interest Guidelines. We encourage you to submit your interest by 1 April 2021.

Best wishes,

The Cancer Grand Challenges team
