Apple has not been spared the effects of the ongoing global component shortage, according to a new report in Nikkei. Some production of MacBooks and iPads has been delayed, with “a portion of component orders” pushed back to the second half of 2021. Nikkei didn’t state which MacBook or iPad models would be affected, nor whether the postponed production was for existing devices or yet-to-be-announced updates.

TechCrunch was alerted Wednesday to Facebook ads tied to several Facebook pages impersonating Clubhouse, the drop-in audio chat app only available on iPhones. Clicking on the ad would open a fake Clubhouse website, including a mocked-up screenshot of what the non-existent PC app looks like, with a download link to the malicious app.

SAAS update
You can now block all third-party API access to Google Workspace data with a new setting. This compliments other available OAuth settings which help you control which third-party & internal apps access Google Workspace data. When selected, all third-party apps are denied access to Workspace and end user data, blocking all OAuth 2.0 scopes.
