I'm tired of writing about injuries, so I know you're tired of having to read about them. Unfortunately, they've been as much a part of this Fantasy season as any before, and that remains true coming out of Sunday's game, as we saw a few more running backs go down in Week 6.
Mark Ingram's injury isn't much of a concern yet because the Ravens are on their bye next week, but we'll have to keep a close eye on Joe Mixon's foot and Miles Sanders' knee after all three were forced from their games Sunday. Mixon tried to play through his injury but was ultimately forced to leave with about eight minutes left in the fourth quarter — and we haven't seen any update on his status since. Sanders was also unable to return to the game, and he's already set for an MRI Monday. In fact, his might be the key injury we'll have to watch out for — especially with a potential difference maker set to step up if he does miss time
They weren't the only players to deal with injuries in Week 6, though Sanders and Mixon are certainly the ones whose absences would mean the most for Fantasy. However, we also saw Zach Ertz and Jonnu Smith leave with ankle injuries they couldn't return from, while DeVante Parker exited Miami's game with a groin injury.
Those are the key injuries to know about from Sunday's games, and while we'll find out more Monday and Tuesday about them and more, right now let's turn our attention to the potential waiver-wire ramifications. We'll have more on Sunday's games tomorrow morning, with Heath Cummings' Believe It Or Not column and my winners and losers from every game, but for now, here's my early look at the Week 7 waiver wire
Here are my top five waiver wire targets for Week 7 in the immediate aftermath of Sunday's games:
  1. Boston Scott (19% rostered)
  2. Giovani Bernard (20%)
  3. Gus Edwards (18%)
  4. Trey Burton (21%)
  5. Tim Patrick (39%)
