I think that there are a lot of factors to consider here, including the grocers trying to cover operating and labor costs, the fact that food producers are also having to combat higher wages to retain employees, CPGs (especially publicly traded ones) as they are after the ever important profit dollars, inflation has its role in the higher prices, too. Don’t forget that growers are facing bad weather in California and elsewhere. You can't just pin it to just one cause; it’s a little of this a little of that.
