On the 40th anniversary of the Wallabies’ victorious 1984 Grand Slam Tour, Joe Schmidt has revealed his 34-man squad for November’s Spring Tour throughout the UK and Ireland.
On the eve of the 2025 British & Irish Lions Tour of Australia, the Wallabies will take on England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland with five new faces including 2023 Rugby World Cup squad members Samu Kerevi and Will Skelton, and recent recruit Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii.
The Wallabies and Australia XV coaches have selected 30 players to travel to the United Kingdom for matches against Bristol and England A next month.
With 14 Wallabies named in the group, 20-year-old Massimo De Lutiis has been selected in his first senior national representative group alongside Australia U20s playmaker Harry McLaughlin-Phillips and ACT Brumbies’ Lachlan Lonergan who continues his comeback from an ankle injury sustained during the Super Rugby Pacific season.
