The Stock Exchange has been all but shut down. The country’s largest banks and financial institutions are unable to process transactions.

To try and salvage the economy, the government is rapidly boosting interest rates, forcing rampant inflation and a vast devaluation of the currency.

Grocery shelves are bare. Medications are hard to come by. Local businesses are shuttered.

I don’t argue the validity of economic sanctions against the Putin regime. The destruction in Ukraine is unbearable. Despicable.

Even before then, a diabolically planned cyberattack could bring our economy to its knees.

It’s not that far-fetched. Remember 2021’s ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline that sparked gasoline shortages across the Southeast United States?

What if hackers were able to shut down our national electric grid...or worse, our financial networks?

They’ve already breached U.S. nuclear facilities, putting the FBI and Homeland Security on high alert.

The point is: Economic, environmental and humanitarian disasters have and can happen anywhere in the world.

And it’s our responsibility to ourselves and our families to be prepared.

There’s one step you can take right now to protect yourself.

Start the process to acquire a second passport.

I can pretty much guarantee you’re eligible for a second citizenship and passport.

As many as 40% of Americans are eligible for a 2nd passport by ancestry alone and don’t realize it.

It is not illegal to have one. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that you have a right to dual...even multiple....citizenships.

And it is not un-patriotic. You are not required to give up your U.S. citizenship when you obtain a second passport and citizenship.

There are many reasons to have a second passport, not the least of which is that it can protect the safety, security, and wealth of your family in times of trouble.

Doesn’t it make sense to be prepared?
