It took half a day and a team of 15 wonderful volunteers from Communicare and The Literature Centre to count the books that were collecting in the ABC foyer in the Brekky Book Bank. A total of 7,082 books were donated! "I’ve seen how much thought has been put into the selection of these books, I’ve read your notes that you sent along with them. This is a giant collection of lovingly curated titles and I am so proud of West Australians for giving so generously." said Breakfast presenter, Russell Woolf.
