The monument will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week with new safety and cleaning protocols to keep employees and visitors protected from the spread of infectious diseases.
Elections officials told 7 On Your Side the US Postal Service was able to quickly send a mail carrier back out to that neighborhood to retrieve the ballots and properly deliver them.
