Eyes to the sky

An LSU researcher who has studied the presence of the coronavirus in wastewater on campus is using the same technology in assessing the risk on international airplane flights. The results show 85 percent accuracy in predicting future COVID cases. Terry Jones reports.


Quite a promotion

A Catholic priest who worked in Baton Rouge more nearly 20 years after his ordination is headed to Louisville, Kentucky, to be its next archbishop. Bishop Shelton Fabre has led the Houma-Thibodaux diocese for the past 8.5 years, and before that was an auxiliary bishop in New Orleans. Details here.
