Leslie has dinner plans with friends all weekend. I’m planning to keep reading an interesting new book about D-Day and see the new film ‘Best of Enemies’ with Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell. There are also a few basketball games to watch! ;)

A standoff with an armed man continued through the night at a home on the city's North Side, San Antonio police said Friday.
BCSO: Skeletal remains found in far west Bexar County burned beyond recognition
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating after human remains burned beyond recognition were found in the far west area of the county. BCSO said it received a call after a person found burned remains in the 1300 block of Highway 211 North between Bandera and Culebra roads.

San Antonio police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a vehicle crash on the city's South Side early Friday morning.
