Are We Facing the Ultimate Crack Up Boom?

Kevin Duffy returns as a guest and Jeremy Yaseniuk visits for the first time. A crack-up boom, a concept developed by Ludwig von Mises, is an economic crisis that involves a recession in the real economy and a collapse of the monetary system due to continual credit expansion that results in unsustainable, rapid price increases. Kevin is a student of von Mises and the Austrian school of economist, in general. His Bearing Asset hedge fund profited greatly by applying the crack-up boom thesis of von Mises when the equity markets crashed during the 2000-2002 time frame. Subsequently, Kevin learned how to invest profitably during good times in the equity markets as well. But now he thinks there are signs that the good times for stockholders may be nearing an end. So, we will ask him how he is investing now. Jeremy will talk about the exciting prospects of CopAur Minerals, a company starting to drill a gold prospect in Nevada. What has the company excited is that it believes geophysics may have revealed a very large feeder zone. Drill results should be available in a few weeks. If the company’s geologists are right, CopAur could be a very exciting story for investors in 2023.
