 Rumors from Capitol Hill: Another round of stimulus checks incoming?As the COVID-19 pandemic drags on, millions of Americans are still hurting for relief due to job loss and financial instability. But in a spot of good news, rumblings are emerging from lawmakers that a new stimulus plan is in the works for Americans that will include yet another round of checks. A leaked proposal calls for the same amount of money as last time — $1,200 per person in the form of direct payments. While details are still being hashed out at the moment, we can only hope this plan comes to fruition soon. We’re also hoping that getting checks into people’s hands is less of a nightmare this time around. At least the IRS already has all of our bank account information by now.
