The plants were sold to Flextronics International Ltd., and the facilities will continue producing Bose products, with the company saying the arrangement will help improve distribution. Is outsourcing a smart move for manufacturers? Yes. As long as it improves the bottom line. Yes. Partnering with a company can leverage their existing relationships and efficiencies.
