This marks diverging trends of retailers either opening for extended hours on Thanksgiving or not at all. Do you think retailers should be closed on Thanksgiving? Yes. Being open is not worth it when balanced against employee morale and business image. Yes. Online sales can be used to balance out any losses for retailers. No. Retailers cannot afford to limit themselves to this degree. No. This is too much of a shopping event to be limited to Black Friday. This week's Flash Poll seeks your vote and opinion on this topic. Voice your opinion now! We appreciate all comments and opinions. To print any comments in the WBJ, we ask that you provide your first and last name, and prefer you also list the company you work for or the town where you work or reside. However, all comments posted in good taste will appear on our website. Comment: Can't answer the question in your email? Click here to view as web page before commenting. |
