Nick Kostos is leaving the stats to the nerds and going with the narrative of Baker Mayfield destroying the Ravens' dreams. Stat geek R.J. White's siding with the Ravens, obviously, and I'm actually with R.J. on this one (Pete Prisco says I'm an IDIOT) in a lively discussion about Browns-Ravens, Blake Bortles' return and all the Week 17 games.
The Saints have locked up the No. 1 seed so they have absolutely no reason to try and beat the Panthers, let alone cover the 8.5-point spread, but Pete Prisco says IT DOESN'T MATTER. Pete's sure Teddy Bridgewater will outclass Kyle Allen, and Pete also says a relaxed Blake Bortles will keep in close in Houston, while a 5-10 team will win easily.
The Ravens have faced the third-toughest lineup of opposing offenses this season, yet they're No. 1 in both yards allowed and points allowed. It made our Jared Dubin wonder, how does this Ravens defense stack up to the legendary Ravens of 2000? You're going to be surprised by what Jared discovered, especially one era-specific stat.

I'll admit, if the Rams are losing to the Niners in the second half, this thing could go sideways. But is that going to happen? OF COURSE NOT, which means the Bears are going to start sitting guys, which means you should jump on the Vikings immediately. Here are all my best bets, including one I changed due to a very interesting development.
The Jags have gone back to Blake Bortles for their season finale, which means ... they still don't have an answer at QB, but at least they'll get the pick of the litter in the draft. Ryan Wilson says Tom Coughlin and company like the experience Drew Lock got in the SEC, and check out who fell to Coughlin's old team at No. 9.
The Eagles are technically on the road, but Jason La Canfora says the Washington fans who actually show up will only be there to savage Dan Snyder after the latest D.C. drama, and he smells an Eagles blowout behind Nick Foles. JLC's gone 24-18-2 on his best bets and he's backing these two other road teams for a strong finish.
The Saints have already said they're starting Teddy Bridgewater, and he's not the only backup set to play a major role in Week 17. If your Fantasy title game is this week, you'll definitely want to check out Jamey Eisenberg's list of potential sleepers, including another Saints backup who could see the ball A LOT.
