This Halloween, you might be venturing out to trick or treat, but if you do, beware of the chimes from the ghoulish Ardbeg’s Monster Ice Scream Truck. We don’t mean beware as in run away, though, we mean: stay alert! It’s an ice cream truck! But it’s for you, the pumpkin-dressed adults of the world. Especially those who like whisky.
So, if you find yourself in Covent Garden Piazza on October 26 or 27, keep your eyes and ears open. Should you stumble upon this alluring, spine-tingling grown-up Ice Scream truck, you’ll be able to choose from all sorts of ice cream treats.
Whether you fancy some Ardbeg Wee Beastie whisky ice cream, sandwiched in charcoal cookies and surrounded by crunchy mealworms, or perhaps a smoky lapsang souchong ice cream with an Ardbeg An Oa whisky caramel centre, coated in white chocolate. There’s more than enough choice for you to have a little treat this Halloween.
Want a freebie? Of course you do. Redeem a complimentary ice cream of your choice by signing up for the Ardbeg Committee at Ardbeg.com (before October 21). You can also purchase a ticket for £10 in advance via the Ardbeg website, which gets you one ice cream and one cocktail. Now that's scarily tempting.
If you happen to be in Scotland, there’ll be three more opportunities to try Arbeg’s spookily good ice cream. It’ll pop up in Drygate Brewery, Glasgow (Fri Oct 29), St James Quarter, Edinburgh (Sat Oct 30) and Castle Street, Edinburgh (Sun Oct 31).
