Do you ever run into an old friend and just LOVE catching up with them?

The kind of friend that knows you really well . . .

Has seen you through bad times and good . . .

Given you advice when you needed it and just listened when you needed to talk.

That's the kind of friend that's worth keeping.

In fact, that's the kind of friend you want a whole community full of.

A few months ago I got to catch up with that kind of friend, Jonathan Fields, at World Domination Summit.

Jonathan is an expert and building tribes that matter - the really good kind.

Just look at how wise and kind that face is.

So when we had a minute to sit down and talk about his new book, all about how to live a good life, I had some questions for him on what he'd learned while writing it.

You see, Jonathan has been interviewing some of the brightest minds in the world (people like Seth Godin and Brene Brown) for years about what it means to live a good life.

He's also done his own extensive research, coached hundreds of people, and wrote bestselling books around this.

So I had to ask him, "What does it take to live a good life?"

He had many interesting answers to this question, but at the heart of it was this.

"We are beasts that have to belong."

No matter what work we do or what success we achieve, we have to feel like we belong to be happy.

That looks different for everyone.

But a good life always means we are living in both contribution to and acceptance from a community that we care about.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this -

Do you feel like you belong to a community or family you care about?

If not, what is holding you back from being a part of one?

Here's to the good life,

Lewis
