We hope you are doing ok given all the disturbing events across the United States and the world this week.

Today, Kathryn Gamble and I wanted to step back from our regular fundraising message, and share our thoughts about racial injustice and white philanthropy.

It's past time to have the difficult conversations with each other. We need to better understand what others have experienced in their lives. We as white Americans need to listen.

Thank you for your work as a nonprofit leader, and the stand you take for social justice. The world needs you, your talents and skills more than ever.
