| The rise and rise of Rosehill We are looking forward to hosting a special Creative Breakfast here at ABtS, next Monday 15th April. Our informal meet up for makers and artists is a regular fixture and an opportunity to take a break from the studio, share your experience and knowledge, or just catch up over coffee and breakfast. Next Monday's is a bit different in that it will be co-hosted by Penny Warren and Sarah Packington, who will give an illustrated talk about the Rosehill Workshops. Established in 1994, this vibrant co-operative of artists and makers is celebrating 30 years at the heart of Brighton's creative community. Situated just off Rosehill (by The Level), and currently host to 13 people working in jewellery, ceramics and other mediums, Rosehill Studios are one of the longest running creative hubs in the city. Come and find out about their story, and share your own, while you enjoy a delicious continental breakfast. 9-11am Monday 15th April. Book your ticket now. |

| RISO Restocked To say that The Riso Show is proving popular would be a massive understatement. Eye-popping with candy colours and surpisingly affordable, we are struggling to keep the gallery walls filled. | Shop! We are loving these greetings cards from The Printed Peanut that have just arrived in the shop. We've long admired their work, and are enjoying having their prints in The Riso Show, but we hope to have these in our permanent rotation of gorgeous greetings cards for a long time to come. But which shop would you like to visit? We notice that there's no gallery in the line up, but luckily you can come and see us in ours! We are now open our summer hours, 11am-5pm seven days a week.
