Only 6% of Havas' 4,000 employees in the U.S. identify as black, indicating that the company hasn’t done enough to spread racial diversity across the group. But it has vowed to change — starting with a plan to ensure the non-white employees in the U.S. get more support and opportunities. "For us, the data was just the first step in better understanding our issues — because we have to understand where we are to figure out where we need to go," said global chief talent officer Patti Clarke.
