We’ve been organizing to stop the T-Mobile/Sprint #MonsterMerger.

Friend,

ICYMI: We’ve been organizing to stop the T-Mobile/Sprint #MonsterMerger.

Why? This deal would dramatically reduce the number of mobile phone and internet options that people can actually afford. It would also lead to the loss of close to 30,000 jobs, and harm communities of color and low-income people, who disproportionately rely on T-Mobile and Sprint for more affordable plans and prepaid services.1

We have until Oct. 31 (when the public-comment period on this merger will close) to get the FCC’s attention. Donate $5 — or whatever you can give — to help us make an impact.

From now until the end of the month, we’ll be ramping up our campaign to #StopTMobileSprint and protect the few remaining options for affordable phone and internet access.

So far we’ve gathered nearly 15,000 petition signatures against the merger and led a successful social-media day of action, complete with a livestream answering all your questions about the deal.2 Next up, we’re organizing Halloween-themed protests outside T-Mobile and Sprint stores across the country to raise awareness of how harmful this merger would be and to mobilize the tens of thousands of people who oppose it.3

We truly believe that with your help we can stop this monster merger — just like we stopped the Sinclair/Tribune merger a few months back.4

But we need your support: Chip in to our campaign to stop T-Mobile/Sprint from depriving millions of people of affordable phone and internet options.

Our work to safeguard what little competition remains in the mobile and broadband markets takes resources. We refuse to take money from business, government or political parties — our independence is too important. Instead, we rely on donations from charitable foundations and individuals like you to keep us going. Can we count on you?

Thanks for all that you do—
