Americans should never forget the generations of brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and our freedom. On Memorial Day, we solemnly come together as a nation to respect and honor their sacrifice and remember them with gratitude.

On behalf of the Democratic Party of Oregon's Veterans Caucus, I ask that you take a moment today and join us in remembering and honoring those who gave their all while serving our country. Many veterans past and present have left behind families and loved ones. If you know someone who has lost a veteran, please take a moment to reach out to them and keep those folks in your thoughts and your hearts today as well.
