There are no off years in politics, and it’s just as true this year. Republicans across the country are adamantly fighting to take away rights from millions and we must act now to protect Americans. Will you take action by donating to the Democratic Party of Oregon?

Very importantly, we must do the work necessary to continue major fundraising to support and ELECT progressive, pro-choice, pro-democracy Democratic candidates.

Medicare and Social Security: Republicans are pushing proposals to cut medicare and social security and raise the costs of prescription drugs and health care premiums.

Labor: While Republicans continue to push union-busting proposals and loosening restrictions on outsourcing jobs overseas, President Biden supports the PRO Act, which allows workers to unionize and bargain for fair wages and working conditions. And while Democrats work to fight inflation and rebuild our economy, Republicans are happy to play games that put us all at risk.

Racial Justice: The other side is obsessed with pedaling conspiracy theories around racial justice in order to inflame their misinformed base. They continue to lie about critical race theory being taught in K-12 schools while attempting to whitewash public school history curriculum, and they regularly use racist tropes for political gain.

Civil Rights: From Tennessee to Texas to Oregon, Republicans are pushing to advance anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ bills across the country. From banning transition care to drag shows, limiting access to bathrooms and sports, Republicans fight to destroy the rights of trans individuals. In addition, Republicans support banning thousands of books, primarily focused on books covering sexuality, gender and race from libraries across the country.
