The Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) supports geographic literacy and education in Canada through the programs of Canadian Geographic Education, as well as through its magazine, Canadian Geographic and its in-house travel program, Canadian Geographic Adventures.
As our readers, teachers and travellers continue to expand their digital engagement with us, we have seen heightened access to Canadian Geographic content on mobile devices. To that end, we are researching the possibility of creating a mobile application (app) that would help Canadians learn about Canada and new places they might wish to visit. Travel provides a dynamic and rich opportunity to experience the history and geography of Canada and explore the relationships between people and place.
We are asking our readers to offer their opinions on this concept by answering a few questions. You will also have an opportunity to provide open-ended feedback. |
