Dear John,

We are so pleased that the OCW Spring Challenge is halfway to the 1,000 contributor goal.  We thank the 516 people who have participated so far and helped us secure the first $10,000 toward our $20,000 challenge gift. Remember—we only get the $20,000 additional gift if 1,000 people contribute during this campaign!

With 14 days left in the campaign, we still need your help!  Every donation, large or small, makes a difference!

What 1,000 OCW supporters means

1,000 OCW supporters during this campaign means:

  • Our sponsors and grant-makers will recognize OCW as an important resource for people who rely on open and free educational tools.

  • OCW can be sustained by learners who help fund:
    • More insights from MIT instructors on how and why they teach so that other educators can enhance their teaching;
    • Publishing more multimedia resources that enrich the learner experience; and
    • Publishing new and updated courses with more depth of materials.

  • Our list of supporters will continue to grow and help us sustain, use, and share OCW for the long-term.

If you can afford to contribute to OCW, then please donate today.  If you have already contributed during this campaign, thank you for helping us get closer to our goal!

Sincerely,

Cecilia d'Oliveira
Associate Dean of Digital Learning

P.S.  Please also encourage your friends, colleagues and family support OCW during this campaign.
