We’re about to battle it out

Howdy readers,

This weekend, the team has signed up for the ultimate endurance challenge, and we're all in it to win it.

That's right — we're going to the Dubai Spartan Race Trifecta, and it's going to get competitive.

Aiming for the fastest time, Emilie's been making the most of free gym trials (boxing, weightlifting, she's done 'em all), while Findlay has been taking a tactical approach,mapping out the course on his desk. In his opinion, it's all about the engineering — if the Etihad Rail passenger train can cut its time from 50 minutes to 30, then why can't he do the same?

Sian's focussing on pure pace, and is hoping an all-out sprint between the obstacles will give her the lead. She's been running up a storm, as well as getting a few sessions in at this outdoor gym.

Meanwhile Yousra's been taking on some of the toughest workout classes in the city, from hardcore HIIT to hot yoga (it's giving dedication).

And Wyanet? She's filming it (duh), but will definitely get her steps in chasing the team round the 5km, 10km or 21km course.
