How do I know if Im working at an NHSC-approved site? 1 ) Visit the Health Workforce Connector and search for your site. 2) If your site does not appear in the Health Workforce Connector, it is not currently NHSC-approved. 3 ) In addition to meeting the basic NHSC eligibility criteria, you must be working at or have an offer letter from an NHSC-approved site to qualify for this LRP application cycle. The Health Workforce Connector maintains a list of open opportunities at NHSC-approved sites.
2. How does my site become NHSC-approved? If your site is not currently NHSC-approved, the site will have to apply during the next NHSC New Site Application Cycle in Spring 2022. 3. Can I apply to more than one NHSC Loan Repayment Program at a time? No. At the time of application, you must choose to apply for one of the three programs: the SUD Workforce LRP, Rural Community LRP or the NHSC LRP program. The award amounts, eligible disciplines and site categories are different for each program. Use our comparison graphic to help you select the program that fits your career goals.
