Hi Achternaam, For those who know we are in NE TN and have been wondering about us after the hurricane...we are fine. 🙂 We had some pretty big winds, lots of rain and did lose power for a day. A couple trees came down on our little dead end lane, but my husband and a few of the neighboring men got it all cut up and off the road. But that is all. There are those in some other areas that were hit MUCH MUCH harder than we were. 😞 Please pray for all those hit by this hurricane. There is much damage, roads out, and power still out in many areas. How are things where you live? I hope you are well! We have some resources to share with you today, which I hope will be helpful as we enter the autumn season: How to Freeze Meat If you’re raising your own animals, hunting wild game, stocking up at the grocery store, or buying bulk meat from a local farmer, freezing meat is one of the most common ways to preserve it for longer periods of time.
