On Tuesday the Save the Internet Act cleared a critical hurdle in the House of Representatives thanks to the thousands of people like you who called and visited your reps in the past week. The House Subcommittee on Commerce and Technology voted in favor of the bill, which would restore real Net Neutrality.

This is a win and we all deserve to celebrate. But the fight is far from over. Donate $7 or whatever you can to pass real Net Neutrality in Congress.

We’ve got our work cut out for us. The Save the Internet Act will need to pass a full committee vote, and then it will move on to a full floor vote in the House of Representatives. So far 175 reps have said they will support the bill when it comes to a floor vote, which means we still need to get at least another 42 members on board in order to win the majority.

We’re expecting to see a floor vote on the bill in the next two weeks — and to win we’ll need to triple the public pressure. Your gift of $7 — or any amount — right away will help win this crucial fight and restore Net Neutrality.
