In Acadiana, celebrations are important to us — in life, and in death. While every loss brings grief, it’s also an opportunity to honor the lives that made a difference in our communities.

Some of these people held major roles in civic, governmental, and educational institutions; others simply left behind a lasting impact through the course of their journeys. As we mourn those we lost, let’s remember the legacy they left – and commit to continuing that legacy in our own lives.
