We talk to Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musida: 'I believe in change for women by women'

24-year-old Shudufhadzo Musida from Limpopo was crowned Miss South Africa 2020 at the pageant finale held in Cape Town on Saturday.
 

The closed event was hosted by Nomzamo Mbatha at The Table Bay hotel was a spectacular affair with entertainment provided by some of the who's who of the SA music industry, including Sho Madjozi, Mi Casa, Ami Faku, Sun-El Musician and Jimmy Nevis.
 

On Sunday, Shudufhadzo admitted that the news had not completely sunk in yet. "I'm excited and still shook at the same time," she says. "You walk around telling yourself: 'This is real'," she laughs.  
 

"For me, even during dress rehearsals, I was not nervous at all because I felt calm. I was actually quite bothered by that. I wasn't nervous. But I realised it was calmness, having already accepted the outcome." she adds.
