Bridgerton Should Have Been Far More Queer

Benedict Bridgerton in Bridgerton

Quite frankly, I expected far more queer representation from 'Bridgerton,' a show that presented itself as an enlightened, saucy, and norms-breaking spin on tired old bodice-ripping tropes.

Somehow We’re Still Having a Super Bowl? And There Will Be Attendees?

A general view of the game in the second quarter between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on November 29, 2020 in Tampa, Florida.

Why are we even trying to entertain the thought of having a Superbowl gathering THIS big? Even with limited attendees?

What Kamala Harris Means To Me as a Mom To a Little Girl

For millions of girls, Kamala Harris is something real, tangible, and powerful that tells them they can't just aspire to the highest pinnacle, but they can also reach it.

Magic: The Gathering Returns to Comics This April for a Climactic Showdown

liliana varient cover for boom comics mtg

The series will focus on the three Planeswalkers/Guildmasters, Ral Zarek, Vraska, and Kaya, who, after an assassination attempt against them on the plane of Ravnica, are forced to travel to the plane of Zendikar to hunt the assassins. Time for a reluctant teamwork.

The CW’s Superman and Lois Trailer Was Lacking in the Lois Department

The CW's Superman and Lois

For a show called Superman and Lois, the season trailer sure lacked a lot of Lois Lane—well, except when she was helping Clark through man pain.

Jared Leto’s Morbius Is Delayed Again and I Don’t Care

Jared Leto in Morbius

Jared Leto's Morbius has been delayed again and it's about time that we admit the truth: This movie looks horrible and it's looked that way since day one.

Let’s Talk About Monica Rambeau in Marvel’s WandaVision

Monica Rambeau looks upset in Disney+'s WandaVision.

Until we see more, getting this glimpse into Teyonah Parris' take on Monica was fun, and I can't wait to see more of her in the future of the MCU. What does this mean for her relationship with Wanda Maximoff, though? We'll have to wait and see.

Biden Immediately Disbands Trump’s Racist 1776 Commission

The 1776 commission is horrific, dangerous, and disgusting. There is no other way to describe it. So it's a relief to see the Biden administration withdrawing the report and suspending the website. There is still so much work to be done, but this is a great place to start.

Senate Democrats Have Requested an Ethics Investigation Into Josh Hawley’s Entirely Unethical Behavior

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) stands in the House Chamber

I hope Trump enjoys his post-presidential impeachment trial as much as Hawley and Cruz enjoy their ethics investigations

Things We Saw Today: Another Game of Thrones Prequel in Early Development at HBO, The Tales of Dunk and Egg

Jon Snow looking sad

It is an interesting idea for a prequel series, but only three of the planned six to twelve stories that have been planned have been released. We remember what happened last time we let them make something in this series into a show without it being finished.

Peter Parker and Aunt May in Spider-Man: Far From Home

Tom Holland didn't listen to his agent and that's maybe why he's our Spider-Man? Honestly, the kind of content I'm here for.
